What are the credentials of an MVP? Is it the best player, the best player on the best team, or the best player on the most surprising team? At 3 And D we say the MVP is the player a team could least afford to lose, so we take CP3, King James, KD and Melo off of their respective squads and see how those teams would do.

The NBA is a league driven by top-talent, and quite simply if a team do not have several elite players, they are not going to win a championship. With that in mind, we give you the Talent Rankings, which ranks the top five players at each position to determine what team has the most talent.
