The name of this site, Three and D, comes from the most valuable of role players. For wings in the NBA, if you can come of the bench, make threes and play solid defense, you are more valuable to your team then floss following a filling of Filet Mignon. Kobe Bryant is the most deadly scorer in the league. So deadly, he gave himself the nickname “The Black Mamba”, referring to the the fact that the Mamba, like Kobe, can strike and kill at any time. But cue the snake charmer, because recently Kobe has been using his killer offensive arsenal to make his teammates better.

In part Three of the NBA Talent Rankings, the top five Power Forward and Centers are ranked. The Power Forwards feature two early-00’s mainstays who should be calling games on TNT, not dominating them. As for the Centers, some surprise at the top. Let’s just say Dwight is NOT happy.
